Since our humble beginnings in the oilfield town of Humble, TX, Texas Pipe & Supply has offered quality distribution services to clients in the petrochemical and related industries. We've built our name on our ability to skillfully execute the complexities of industrial distribution, paired with personalized service for every client.
Today, the Texas Pipe Family of Companies maintains our leading position in the PVF industry by staying true to our original mission: to provide the most inventory with the highest standard of service.
Texas Pipe & Supply opens their first locations in Humble Texas in 1918. When Texas Pipe & Supply first opened their main focus was used equipment as well as pipe they would dig up pipelines and rent pipelines out to oil companies.
In 1929 Texas Pipe & Supply moved to Houston from Humble to further expand its market.
Texas Pipe & Supply moved into its present Houston location on Holmes Road and set its focus on specializing in line pipe.
As Texas Pipe initiated their expansion outside Houston, they opened an office in Morgan City, LA to begin distribution of carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe. The original location remains in business today and has been managed by Nick Morris for the past 33 years.
Leadership at Texas Pipe & Supply enhanced the firm’s presence in the petrochemical industry by adding stainless steel pipe, fittings and flanges to it's inventory.
Texas Pipe & Supply started its formal quality program in 1992, with the goal of conforming to ISO 9001. The program implemented an internal auditing procedure, an inspection program, and a corrective and preventative action control system.
Texas Pipe & Supply acquired Energy Metals Inc., a master distributor of specialty stainless steel and high-grade nickel alloy pipe, fittings and flanges.
We are proud to announce the promotion of Keith Rubenstein to President of Texas Pipe & Supply Co. Keith came to work part time during his college years at the University of Houston. After graduating with a Bachelors degree in business, he went to work full time in sales. Over his 28 year tenure with the company, Keith has worked in the yard, operations, purchasing and sales.
Keith comes to the office of President with a great deal of pride and enthusiasm. "As President, I want to see Texas Pipe continue to grow and prosper, and to expand into new areas and increase our product offering. Texas Pipe puts our customers first, and we will continue to invest in technology to make the experience at Texas Pipe as fast, efficient and pleasant as possible." As Sam Walton once said, "There is only one boss – the customer – and he can fire everybody in the company from the President on down simply by spending his money somewhere else."

Texas Pipe acquired Dodson Global Inc., a master distributor of carbon steel weld fittings, flanges, forged steel fittings and valves. Included in the purchase was OVC (Ohio Valve Company), as Dodson is the primary master distributor for the Ohio Valve product line.
In 2014, Installoy, an instrumentation tubing distributor was formed, Installoy services the oil field industry mostly to electrical distributors, OEM’s and end users.
Texas Pipe & Supply acquired SFG (Stainless Fittings Group), a manufacturer of stainless-steel stub ends, concentric reducers and plate flanges.
Texas Pipe & Supply announces the acquisition of Alloy Piping Products (APP). APP is a manufacturer/master distributor of carbon, stainless and alloy butt-weld fittings.
Texas Pipe & Supply announces the acquisitions of MultAlloy, J+J Alloys, and J+J Bar Plus. MultAlloy is a master distributor of specialty alloy pipe, fittings and flanges with headquarters in Pearland, TX, and five additional locations across the United States. Sister companies J+J Alloys, a manufacturer/master distributor of nickel alloy products, and J+J Bar Plus, a master distributor of bar products, are both headquartered in Pearland, TX.
Distributors Texas Pipe & Supply, Installoy, and MultAlloy, and manufacturer Stainless Fittings Group (SFG), joined existing members Dodson Global (with Ohio Valve Company), Energy Metals, and Alloy Piping Products (APP) to provide independent distributors with access to a comprehensive portfolio of PVF products and manufacturing capabilities under one roof.
